Since 1971,started to work in NHK as mixing engineer. He has been in charge of winning works such as Art Festival Grand Prize, Broadcasting Cultural Foundation Award, IBC Noble Doll Award, Vatican Hope Award, etc. as a highly respected figure in NHK, and was awarded with excellent achievements from AES ips, ABU and JAS. Retired as Director of Program Production Center in 2005.
Since 1985, he has been working to developing surround production for next-generation HD-TV. Conducted surround production workshops, seminars and papers from 2001, focusing on AES and Southeast Asia and Mainland China. They give a nickname of him as [SURROUND SHOGUN-General].
Since 2007, high quality music production UNAMAS label has been launched as his Boutique Label. The Japan Professional Music Recording Award was awarded in the High Res category in 2013, 2015 and 2016, and in 2017 in 2018 2019, it won the same category RECORDING and BEST STUDIO award. Focusing on album production with immersive audio from 2014, the results are presented at AES INT CONFERENCE Spatial Reproduction in August 2018 TOKYO JAPAN.
